Muiredach Muillethan (the broad crowned) Mac Fergusso was a son of Fergus Macragallach Of Connacht; of the Síl Maílruain, a sept of the Uí Briúin branch of the Connachta.[citation needed] He died in 702[1]
He became King of Connacht (696-702) following the death of his grandfather Rogallach Macuatach. [citation needed]
